Esther’s Mood Ring‘s Dream Ecology – the first album produced by the collaborative duo of Stefan Beck and Steve Targo. You may also know them from their other endeavours: Stefan with Golden Brown and Prairiewolf and Steve with Nimbudala and Inner Travels.
Crossing borders between traditions, sonic territories, and instruments, musicians Tomáš Niesner and Aldana Duoraan‘s first collaborative album Plot.
Adela Mede & Štefan Szabó, united by their Slovak-Hungarian heritage and a deep love for folk music, recently released Dalok (Songs), a distillation of time spent singing together. They recorded it over a weekend in a cottage in Stupava with their friends.
Cathal Caulfield‘s debut solo album, Welcome the Stranger into Tipsy House, which is released on October 16th. His Dublin album launch, which will take place on Saturday, November 14th, at The Cobblestone Pub. Caulfield is a traditional Irish fiddle player and singer based in Mayo, and the album grows out of a decade deeply rooted in Dublin’s traditional and folk music scene. It draws on archival material, sean-nós singing, and folk traditions while exploring the fiddle’s possibilities beyond its traditional role.
