Recently, I’ve been spending a lot more time listening to music. Not because of our email submissions going through the roof but because I find it a great way to relax, whether keeping me company on a long walk or as an escape from the constant exposure to news of the pandemic.
I introduced a mix series called KLOF around two years ago and it hasn’t really surfaced very much at all…only twice in fact. Although I didn’t really clock it at the time, I was clearly needing a deeper form of escape during what was a particularly difficult time. We are not all the same, but I frequently turn to music during anxious times…so here is No. 3…with more to follow.
While every listener will perceive my mixes in their own way, I think of these as deep mixes…more experimental and alternative in their overall nature.
