Remix Challenge: Lisa Knapp – The Pleasant Month of May

After Lisa Knapp released her new EP Hunt the Hare at the beginning of May (read our review and interview) she placed some tracks on soundcloud and invited folks to do a remix of ‘The Pleasant Month of May’.

Ged Flood of ‘Mishaped Pearls’ (read our band introducton) rose to the challenge and has out together the mix you can hear below. Whilst sympathetic it adds a great percussive drive that maintains that English ‘folkloric’ feel of the track…you can almost imagine the morris dancers, a grand job!
