We have a lovely video première today from Kat Quinn for Little Rose. After hearing her sing I can understand why she’s able to draw in an audience so easily. Vocally she reminds me of Laura Gibson, a voice I never tire of. Kat’s vocals are complete bliss to these ears, a real pleasure to listen to. Combining those vocals with intelligent lyrics she offers a depth to her music that is often lacking today, she will warm the hearts of any audience.
Kat had this to say about the song and video ‘Little Rose’:
”The video is about looking back on a relationship after it’s over. So there are two distinct parts- there’s the present, when the girl is reflecting, and then there’s the past, which are the memories of the relationship. We wanted to tell that love story using the metaphor of the rose, so you can really see the girl go through the phases of this love until its end.”
