case/lang/veirs have announced a 10th anniversary deluxe edition of their self-titled 2016 album, due 4 September via Anti- Records. Alongside comes “Accidental Tattoo”, a previously-unreleased track written by all three. The expanded edition adds the new song and 12 live recordings from the original tour to the album’s 14 tracks.
Laura Veirs returns on 14th August with her fourteenth solo album, “Temple Songs”, released via her own Raven Marching Band Records. Her lead single, “Flying Into Darkness”, arrives with a video that Veirs filmed herself during a recent French tour. Written, recorded, arranged, produced and performed entirely alone in her backyard ‘Temple of Bloom’ studio, it’s the most self-contained project of Veirs’s three-decade career.
Laura Veirs is set to release her new live album, “Laura Veirs And The Choir Who Couldn’t Say (Live In Angoulême)” next month on October 10. This unique collaboration features Veirs performing 15 songs with a French school choir of 32 students. Watch the video for ‘Shape Shifter’, which featured on her 2013 album Warp & Weft.
