I feel like a latecomer introducing French artist Scarlett O’Hanna who is described as a format-killer composer, singer and producer with eclectic sensitivity but she will make waves this year. She’s opened for Scout Niblett, Emily Jane White and Laura Veirs, all FRUK favourites and was also invited by Wilco on a leg of their European tour in 2011. Scarlett recently went back to France to record Romance Floats which is due for release this year on May 9 in Benelux, Germany, Switzerland and Austria to start with. Her song ‘Thieves’ was the first single from the album:
