Hollow Hand
Hollow Hand deliver a fully harmonious union of folk and indie pop on ‘Wish Road South’, their best album to date. It’s a vibrant record in which you can feel the fun coursing through it, as the zest of a reconfigured and tightly knit group of musicians burns as brightly as the beautifully melodic and unique songs that they’ve forged here.
Hollow Hand shares the video for “Heavy Metal T-Shirt,” the final single from fourth album “Wish Road South,” directed by Mega Bog’s Erin Birgy and shot in Dublin. The rowdiest thing on the record, it was tracked live in a studio corridor in Brighton — feedback in the cracks, a singalong chorus, and no shortage of heart.
Hollow Hand, the Brighton project of Max Kinghorn-Mills, shares “I Turned My Back On The World”, the second single from fourth album “Wish Road South”, out September 4th via Loose Music / Soundly. A broken Wurlitzer and drifting synths carry a homesick reverie through distant childhood memories and the Cornish sea.
