Hana Stretton

Tiarn is a gorgeous sophomore record by Australian ambient-folk producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist Hana Stretton. Like its predecessor, it comes alive off the record, a living and breathing tapestry of sound. Where Soon found its focus on the Australian bush, this latest project casts its gaze on the endless shores of the Pacific Ocean, where Stretton’s boundless textural explorations reflect a world suspended in blue. 

Hana Stretton shares the video for “From”, the final single from “tiarn”, her second album out August 7th. Recorded during a storm with a hairbrush, a tiny harp and her dog asleep beside her, it reaches for warmth and connection from the tiny Australian beach town where the album was made. Hana Stretton has shared “Before This”, an AA single pairing “As It Was Before This” with “Seagull Theory II”, from her second album “tiarn”, out August 7th. Lima Limo and Inpartmaint have announced a joint vinyl edition for Europe and Japan. Self-recorded in a small Australian beach town, the album came out of blue-hour swims and whale migrations.
