We have a seasonal song premiere today from the wonderful Heidi Talbot. Christmas in September was written by Boo Hewerdine and produced by John McCusker, the song was recorded in Heidi’s own studio in the Scottish Borders countryside and finished in various hotel rooms across America.
Heidi shared this about her song choice: “The first time I heard Christmas in September I fell in love with the song – that perfect balance of touching lyrics and beautiful melody. It made me nostalgic and sad but very happy at the same time – the perfect Christmas song”
‘Christmas in September’ features Richard Bennet (Mark Knopfler, Neil Diamond), Glenn Worf (Willie Nelson, Tammy Wynette), Nigel Hitchcock (Tom Jones, Robbie Williams), John McCusker, Phil Cunningham, James Mackintosh and Adam Holmes. It’s released on 23rd November through Under One Sky Records.
2016 will see Heidi record a new album in her own studio in the Scottish Borders and for the first time release it on her own label, Under One Sky Records. A summer of festivals are confirmed both nationally and internationally followed by an extensive UK and European tour in Autumn 2016.
