As many of you will know from the coverage we’ve been giving to the new album Murmurs from Martin Simpson, Andy Cutting & Nancy Kerr we’re pretty excited about hearing the end results. Each artist has divulged some lovely stories about their instruments in a series of video interviews so far (click here to see them) as well as playing a tune solo. This has built up a thirst here at FRUK which we can quench slightly today with our Song of the Day.
Here is a video of the fabulous trio rehearsing Ruben which is a non-album track, a re-working of the American standard also known as ‘Reuben’s Train’. It will feature on a special 7″ double-A sided vinyl single – Dark Honey/Ruben.
