Continuing our ongoing regular feature on Folk Radio UK called Discovered & Unearthed. Featuring new music alongside unearthed tracks from the past that may be only a few years old or decades old.
In our second mix there is plenty of new music from the likes of Lutine and RM Hubbert. There is also one track that is so new even the artist hasn’t heard it yet – A FRUK session I recorded one evening in a field whilst at Purbeck Folk Festival…you can hear the crows and crickets in the background. I think he’s something special and his name is Tom McQ, a name you’ll be hearing more from soon on Folk Radio UK. We’ve also new music from Aldous Harding…another new name to many of you whose song that I’ve featured ‘Stop Your Tears’ just stopped me dead in my tracks when I first heard it.
Check what else is features in the playlist below or just grab yourself a drink, press play and chill out for an hour.
