Here’s a great video of Martin Simpson and Andy Cutting delighting the audience at Music on the Marr, a festival that takes place in the village of Castle Carrock, near Carlisle.
In the Autumn of next year Martin and Andy will be teaming up as a trio with Nancy Kerr. All three have had a busy year and we’re really looking forward to seeing them perform together:
Martin, who was our Artist of the Month in August, has been busy touring his excellent ‘Vagrant Stanzas’ (read our review) which was released on Topic Records at the end of July. Andy Cutting has been accompanying the legendary Roger Daltrey and Nancy Kerr has been very pre-occupied with a sell out tour with The Full English. The Full English album was our Album of the Month in October (read our review) which was also released via Topic Records.
