As many of you know we had to stop our main broadcast last month due essentially to a lack of funding support. Whilst we continue to run our Deezer Radio Channel and provide on-demand shows via Mixcloud this hasn’t been without issues for some. The main one being availability in the US and the conveniance of listening via the TuneIn App or Internet Radio Device.
New Service on Radionomy
In order to try and tackle some of these issues and to provide a streaming service to as many people as possible we are trialing a new service from today via Radionomy which allows everyone to tune in (including those in the US). The service is ad-supported although there only appear to be adverts in certain countries, presumably because the service is fairly new. I’ve heard none whilst listening from the UK. As I mentioned, this is a trial so we will see how things develop.
To listen just use the new listen buttons on our website (over on the right-hand side). You can use the pop-up player:
or use one of the other listen links shown to open the stream in your default player e.g. Winamp / iTunes.
For details on adding the service to your internet radio device or app go to our listener help page here.
The service will be gradually updated on listings that are used by Internet Radio Devices.
