The hugely talented Urban Folk Quartet (UFQ) made up of Joe Broughton, Paloma Trigas, Frank Moon and Tom Chapman have clearly had their thinking hats on…when it comes to promoting their new album what better way than involving the fans themselves who can become a part of that whole process. It’s genius and we love it:
They are about to kick off their Spring Tour during which two gigs will be recorded towards their next album. To get in on the action fans just need to try and make it to one of two gigs:
Thursday 16th May at London’s Sebright Arms (tickets via Pull Up the Roots)
and then two days later on
Saturday 18th May, they’ll be doing it all again in Birmingham at The Yardbird and tickets are available here.
It doesn’t stop there though…those that attend will be entitled to have their name in the liner notes of the finished CD. You are also encouraged to bring your camera or smartphone and get snap happy – tweet your shots of the night to @theufq, post them on facebook, or email them to fanshot@theufq.com and they’ll include their favourites in the album artwork.
Get creative – we don’t just want photos of us, we want shots of you, your mates… anything that helps capture a night to remember!
If you haven’t seen them live try and make every effort to see them, they have an incredible stage presence and are one of the most exciting folk bands out there!
