The Local have teamed up with director Tim Plester to hold a very special afternoon screening of his heartfelt documentary Way of the Morris
. The film’s DVD launch will take place on Sunday 25 September 2011, at Tim’s local cinema, the beautiful Phoenix in East Finchley, North London (very probably the oldest purpose-built cinema in the UK). From 2pm until 6pm there will be dj’s, live bands, and a screening of the film followed by a Q-and-A with the film’s main protagonists (hosted by the comedian and broadcaster Phill Jupitus) – all helping provide a fitting launch pad for this uniquely British documentary.
