Zachary Lucky

Zachary Lucky’s ‘The Wind’ is in the classic mould of an Americana troubadour album – it’s up there with the best, alongside Guy Clark, Tom Rush, and Townes Van Zandt.

Saskatchewan-born singer-songwriter Zachary Lucky returns with new album ‘Midwestern’. Old school folk and country, sung from the heart with sentiments to which everyone can relate.

Taken from his most recent release Everywhere A Man Can Be, watch Canadian folk and country artist Zachary Lucky and his band performing “Can’t Say Why”. They performed the song live at an intimate performance in Zachary’s now hometown of Toronto Canada.

Zachary Lucky demonstrates that he has no need to mess with winning and timeless formula on this his fourth album – a collection of (mainly) road songs, but also an explicitly Canadian album.

Watch Zachary Lucky singing Ramblin’ Man’s Lament live and he shares the news that he has a new album due in October 2016 to be released via Wroxton Recordings.

EPISODE 012 of ‘Mix Tape Radio On Folk Radio UK’ will feature a track from our 6th Bedroom Session with the great Zachary Lucky and a track off of the (very) soon to be released (very) brilliant Mike Tod record.

Born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Zachary Lucky has made a big impression on the Canadian music scene. His latest album ‘Saskatchewan’ was one of our favourites of 2012.
