Another mixed bag in our Lost in Transmission mix series. This includes some recently featured artists including GRIP TIGHT as well as healthy dose of other new releases as well as favourites from the past. This one’s very eclectic.

We have the pleasure in premiering the video for the debut single from Berlin via London producer GRIP TIGHT. The video, inspired by the Simon Armitage poem ‘To His Lost Lover’, is a collaboration by British artists Rosie Carr, Joanna Harrison and Michael Miles.

This tribute provides a space in which some of the musicians who rightly look up to Molina’s work can express their gratitude to him and to his family. It also gives fans another perspective on the music of one of the best and most quietly influential songwriters to have ever tried his hand at the game. Jason Molina may never have known it, but he is not alone.

Hotly tipped for 2014 Eyes & No Eyes unveil a track from their forthcoming self-titled debut album. Progressive brilliance that straddles noise / pop…one to watch for.
