With ‘Willson Williams,’ one might be tempted to conclude that Kathryn Williams and Dan Willson are bringing out the best in each other. Despite the melancholy that both typically lean into, there is a feeling of dual purpose and fun resonating through all these tracks.

Our Song of the Day is ‘The Living Wage’ by Charles Latham. All digital sale proceeds go to The Scottish Living Wage Campaign, along with its “sister” organization, The Durham Living Wage Project in Latham’s hometown in North Carolina.

The good people at Lost Map Records recorded this lovely session recently featuring Withered Hand, James Yorkston & The Pictish Trail performing ‘Life of Doubt‘ which we’ve chosen as our Song of the Day. They are all on tour together in January.
