Weikie

Oxfordshire-born, Leicester-based multi-instrumentalist Adam Weikert has announced his innovative new album, To Whom Ourselves We Owe, set for release on December 19th via The Gleeman Guild. The first single, ‘Farewell to the Green Man’, backed with B-side ‘The Care’, featuring Alice Beadle of Goblin Band (Broadside Hacks) is out today.

We have the great pleasure in premiering ‘Waiting For P To Have a Vision’, the new digital single from Brighton-based artist and troubadour Jinnwoo (aka Ben Webb), an artist we featured in session in 2014.

Roots 66 is a new folk festival to be held at The Theatre By The Lake in Keswick over the weekend of Feb 5-7th 2016 which will incorporate two showcase concerts to celebrate 40 Years of Fellside Recordings. Lineup includes Chris While & Julie Matthews, Jez Lowe & The Bad Pennies, The Mighty Doonans, Ewan McLennan and more.

Our Sunken Ship is a potent album that deserves wide recognition for Adam Weikert’s lyrical prose as well as the wonderful arrangements that envelop this beautiful album. A name to watch for!
