Dirty Three announce “Love changes everything”, their first album in over a decade and share their opening track and video. Unrelenting and visionary, the power of this trio is undeniable – it’s great to have them back.

Skeleton Tree tackles death, loss, grief and religion couched in a musical meld of noir and Biblical atmospherics. Between times, darkness hangs heavy, even when songs have an edge of hope and celebration.

With their harmonies steeped in southern moss, Appalachian colours and the old school influence of the Carter Family still firmly nailed to the mast, Freakwater’s new album’s been worth the ten year wait.
