Ty Segall’s new album, Possession, drops on Drag City tomorrow (May 30th). As previously shared, Ty enlisted his old friend and longtime collaborator, filmmaker Matt Yoka, to write with him. Shared today, Matt also directed, produced, and edited the video for ‘Buildings’, which was shot in Downtown Los Angeles and Porter Street Studio.

Ty Segall shares the title track of his new album Possession, with lyrics by longtime collaborator and filmmaker Matt Yoka. They “each acts as writer and editor as they throw the conceptual ball back and forth translating general vibes and feels into wicked lyric imagery.”

Featuring a blazing mid-point entry on sax from Mikal Cronin, Ty Segall shares “Saturday Pt. 2” which concludes a mini-suite that forms the penultimate movement of “Hello, Hi”.

Following on from their recent cover of Lou Reed’s Rooftop Garden, Bill Callahan and Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy return with a cover of Johnnie Frierson’s ‘Miracles’ aided by Ty Segall.
