With songwriting like this it is hard to believe that it has taken Osborne so long to begin committing her own material to tape. We can only hope she doesn’t stop there.

The mighty Trembling Bells have unveiled a new video for Hallelujah on the video for which they undertake an hallucinogenic procession through the streets of Glasgow. It’s all in there from early musical instruments, folk-rock, Easy Rider, a spot of bell-ringing and morris dancing.

We have a particularly very fine Song of the Day from Scottish singer Alasdair Roberts who has just revealed his new video for In Dispraise of Hunger from his self-titled album out now on Drag City Records.
