Tom Kitching’s latest album ‘Seasons of Change’ is accompanied by his book of the same name in which he shares his experiences of busking around England – a book that shows whatever the situation, this England is so full of life, accompanied by an album of music that is as equally full.

Following his 18 month ‘Busk England’ project, fiddle player Tom Kitching has announced he is to turn the 46 blogs and countless notes into a book and an accompanying album with Norwegian mandola player, Marit Fält.

Interloper is the latest release from Tom Kitching on which he is joined by some well known musicians to define the current state of the English tradition. This is a collection of cracking tunes with intelligent, absorbing arrangements. You can’t go wrong with this one.

This year’s Hothouse Festival at Halsway Manor in Somerset looks set to be another great year with performances from Sam Kelly, The Elephant Sessions, The Magic Lantern, Tom Kitching Band and many more. Now in its fourth year the festival continues to champion new young performers and is one we always go to.
