The Unthanks are taking the show, The Unthanks Explore the Music of Robert Wyatt / Antony & The Johnsons, on the road in December, to mark the release of a live album, captured last December at the Union Chapel.

As part of BRASS 2011 a lively genre busting annual festival held in Durham The Unthanks will unveil their latest collaboration with Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band. The project focuses on the folk songbook of the coal-mining industry.

Silent June is a Stunning debut album from ex-Unthanks pianist, Belinda O’Hooley and Yorkshire songwriter Heidi Tidow. Haunting piano, soaring strings and warm harmonies combine beautifully. O’Hooley is best known for her work as songwriter and pianist with Rachel Unthank & the Winterset (now The Unthanks).
