The Local Honeys

The Local Honeys say this album is their first on which they express who they are and where they’re from. It’s about finding themselves, and you’re highly advised to find them too.

A departure from the secular and partly self-penned material on their debut, but remaining firmly rooted in their love of traditional Kentuckian bluegrass, there is an irresistible and infectious joy in what they do, so amen to that.

A duo you should most definitely check out – From the rolling hills of the Bluegrass and the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Montana Hobbs and Linda Jean Stokley are The Local Honeys. They hit our shores this month for a string of UK festivals, including Latitude and SummerTyne.
