The Levellers new release ‘Static On The Airwaves’ should be seen not just as a great album, but as an important album. An album which will soundtrack a summer of parties and festivals, just as ‘Levelling The Land’ did years ago.

The Levellers have unveiled their new video for ‘Truth Is‘, the first single from the forthcoming studio album, ‘Static On The Airwaves‘. The BBC Radio 2 Folk Award Winners for 2011 were announced tonight following during an award ceremony which went out live. There were many highlights of the evening as well as double wins for Chris Wood as well as Eliza Carthy and norma Waterson. Ewan McLennan also managed to pick up the Horizon Award!
