Supersonic Festival

Supersonic Festival has confirmed ten new acts for its sold-out limited-edition 2026 event, including Guttersnipe, Jennifer Reid, Thorn Wych, Ancient Hostility and more. MMM — the trio of Gayle Brogan, Nick Jonah Davis and Elizabeth Still — have also shared a video for Hands to Stone, Eyes to Stars from their Calanais Stones-inspired album Lunistice Alignments.

Supersonic Festival returns to Digbeth on April 25–26, 2026, for a special limited edition. The lineup features the premiere of Microplastics (aya, 96 back, Jennifer Walton), alongside the “Lynchian” doom-folk of ØXN, Traidora, a queer four-piece led by Eva Leblanc, the plunderphonics of Milkweed and more. This “creative hub” continues its resistance against gentrification, prioritising raw, uncompromising music and collective, joyous catharsis.

With this year’s Supersonic Sunday-lineup featuring some of KLOF’s favourites, we went along for the ride. Bridget Hayden, Jackie-O Motherf-cker, Hedgling, Six Organs of Admittance, Cinder Well, Jennifer Reid, Poor Creature, Richard Dawson, Funeral Folk and The Bug & Warrior Queen were outstanding. On the strength of these performances, Supersonic can claim to be not just the best small festival in the country, but the best of any size.

Check out some of the names in Supersonic Festival’s 2024 first lineup announcement, including Bonnie “Prince” Billy, ØXN, One Leg One Eye, John Francis Flynn, Brìghde Chaimbeul, Mary Lattimore, Smote, Emma Ruth Rundle, Gazelle Twin, Upchuck and more.
