Join Freschard and Stanley Brinks for an evening of bar hopping. A look into the late night drinking culture in Paris or Berlin, but not as you might expect: eclectic, at times eccentric and positively entertaining.

Following on from 2014’s Pizza Espresso, Freschard and Stanley Brinks come together for 12 brand new tracks on Midnight Tequila. Watch their new video for the opening track Going to the Bar.

This year’s Fanø Free Folk festival (21-23 July 2017) is looking greater than ever. Names include Ed Askew, Brigid Mae Power, Sutari, Dead Rat Orchestra, Stanley Brinks & Freschard, Sharron Kraus and more.

Stanley Brinks’ latest offering sees him teaming up with a stripped down two-piece version of the Norwegian folk collective The Kaniks – a double album that is immaculately played, unpolished and, for the most, jubilant in spirit and mood, it’s a gem of its kind.

We have another new song to share from the forthcoming double album Vieilles Caniques et Nouvelles Caniques from Stanley Brinks aka André Herman Düne, he is joined by the Norwegian folk collective The Kaniks, this time stripped back to a two piece of fiddle and banjo, ‘The Old Time Kaniks.’

Stanley Brinks – aka André Herman Düne – returns with the new double album ‘Vieilles Canieques / Nouvelles Caniques’, the follow up to 2016’s Record Store Day Release ‘Turtle Dove’. Once again he is joined by the Norwegian folk collective The Kaniks, this time stripped back to a two piece of fiddle and banjo, ‘The Old Time Kaniks’.

A new mix that blends some music to drift along to before falling down a rabbit hole with a bunch of subversives – Stick in the Wheel, Jeffrey lewis and more

Along with his collaborators, The Kaniks, Stanley Brinks has made yet another glorious album which celebrates the individuality of us all at the same time as it reminds us we’re not all that different, really, under the skin. Plus we have an exclusive album stream.

An extra long bonus mix featuring some of our latest favourites including: Trembling Bells, 9Bach, Stanley Brinks, My Bubba, Tom Rosenthal, jo Mango, Hiss Golden Messenger, Seamus Cater and many more.

Part Two – Best Folk Music Albums of 2015 including: Bella Hardy, Damien O’Kane, Fabian Holland, Jackie Oates, Karen Matheson, False Lights, O’Hooley & Tidow, Martyn Joseph, Richard Thompson, Rachel Taylor-Beales, Eliza Carthy, John Jones and more.

We have the great pleasure of bringing you an exclusive first listen of the new album from Stanley Brinks and The Wave Pictures. Listen to ‘My Ass’ in full before its release this Friday 2nd October.

Stanley Brinks & The Wave Pictures’ latest offering, ‘My Ass’, is a powerfully honest album which, when played back-to-back with Gin, creates an almost perfect soundtrack to the humdrum, everyday existence of many people, to the ups and downs of lives lived to the fullest extent possible and, for that alone it is definitely something to be cherished.
