Sidmouth Folk Festival

There’s really no better place to spend a day than in Sidmouth during the first week of August! Everyone is welcome in the popular East Devon seaside town as residents, holidaymakers and festival goers join together to make Sidmouth FolkWeek the friendliest and best music-based holiday of the summer.

Sidmouth FolkWeek 2018 (3-10 August) announces its first round of headline acts along with releasing the first wave of great value Super Early Bird tickets.

As advance tickets are already selling fast for many of Sidmouth Folkweek’s Pre-Festival specials we take a look at some of the other top names performing at the Ham and Bulverton roots dance party nights.

The ever popular Sidmouth Folkweek (4-11 August) have just announced their early headliners Including Lau, Martin Carthy & Sam Sweeney, Dervish, George Monbiot and Ewan McLennan, Chris Wood, Rura, Catrin Finch and Seckou Keita and many more.

The deadline for Sidmouth FolkWeek Early Bird ticket offer ends on midnight, this Saturday 30th April – don’t miss their great lineup which includes many of the nominees and winners of the BBC Folk Awards.

Sidmouth FolkWeek has another great lineup this year including winners of the recent BBC Folk Awards with Nancy Kerr and Sam Sweeney. Also amongst their extensive lineup are some wonderful folk music stars who performed at the Awards: Julie Fowlis and Kate Rusby.
