Sarah McQuaid

Singer-songwriter Sarah McQuaid will be kicking off a 3-month, 59-show autumn USA and UK tour with high-profile hometown shows in both West Cornwall, England, where she’s lived since 2007, and Chicago, where she spent most of her childhood.

Featuring music that spans her vibrant 24-year career, Sarah McQuaid’s ‘The St Buryan Sessions’ is a wonderful, expressive and intimate live album from a consummate performer.

Spain-born, American-raised and UK-based singer/songwriter Sarah McQuaid is heading out on the road again for 12 solid weeks of touring, with 35 shows in the USA and 22 in the UK (57 concerts in total).

UK-based singer/songwriter Sarah McQuaid announces US and UK Tour as she heads out on the road with a battery of new instruments and a new album that Folk Radio UK hailed as “consummate artistic triumph”.

A consummate artistic triumph that marks a new phase in McQuaid’s career – a mature and hugely confident musical and stylistic progression that deserves to be applauded as such.

Singer/songwriter/guitarist Sarah McQuaid is hard at work writing songs for her new album, to be produced by none other than folk icon Michael Chapman who she met when they both performed at Village Pump Festival in 2014.

An eclectic group of multicultural musicians, including Lau, Inge Thomson, Julie Murphy, Rachel Taylor-Beales and more, have contributed a digital download album in support of the One Day Without Us campaign which calls for a national day of action on February 20th 2017 in solidarity with migrants and refugees who live, work and study in the UK.

Before taking a well-deserved break from the road to record her fifth solo album, Sarah McQuaid heads out on an extensive UK tour next month taking her from Cornwall to Scotland.

Sarah McQuaid has clearly held true to her own musical vision and it’s to be hoped that Walking Into White is the album which will bring her the wider commercial success she so richly deserves. Don’t miss her UK & European tour which is currently underway.

Sarah McQuaid is just back from Ireland, where she finished recording and mixing her new album – It’s a bit of a departure from my previous solo CDs in that the emphasis this time round is on my own original songs.
