Taken from their forthcoming EP “Eta Carinae” released on October 11th 2019, Rob Heron & The Tea Pad Orchestra have shared a video for their brilliant first single “Swinging Like a Brick”. They are on tour in October.

From the artwork to the music, this album is pure joy. Most importantly, for all their infectious joy, this is a band that does not shy away from making poignant statements about the world we live in.

Rob Heron and the Tea Pad Orchestra latest album offers a cornucopia of western swing, country ballads, Tom Waitsian instrumentalism and cross-cultural Americana jambalaya goodness.

The Unthanks are to headline and curate a one day festival in their native city of Newcastle featuring Rob Heron’s Tea Pad Orchestra, Alasdair Roberts, Twelfth Day, The Baghdaddies as well as 150 Unthanks Singing Weekenders and more.
