My Brightest Diamond’s third album ‘All Things Will Unwind’ arrives on 10th October and tour date announcements are to follow soon, but in the meantime feast on the video for ‘Be Brave’. It’s a gorgeous slow-burning piece of operatic chamber pop.

The third album from My Brightest Diamond, ‘All Things Will Unwind’ was composed exclusively with the chamber ensemble yMusic (Bon Iver, Antony & the Johnsons, The New York Philharmonic & Rufus Wainwright) and more folk-tinged than much of Shara Worden’s recent work.

It was by complete chance that I came across this release. The chain of events that led me to it are not worthy of a mention, honest. My initial thoughts were that I must have missed something somewhere, I did.

If you haven’t yet heard My Brightest Diamond then this will be a treat. If you have, I’m sure this performance will be rated amongst her best. With simple lyrics that unfold through a mesmerising voice, this ranks amongst my favourite tracks:
