Of Monsters & Men are an Icelandic band that won Músiktilraunir (a nation wide battle of the bands competition). UK indie folkers will embrace and liken them to the likes of Mumford and Son and Laura Marling.

Emily and the Woods has just recorded a video session for Secret Session on which she sings songs from her new EP which features Ted from Mumford and Sons as well as Marcus from Willkommen Collective. Watch it below:

This April, Mumford & Sons, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, and Old Crow Medicine Show will embark on a tour unlike any in recent memory. Traveling exclusively in vintage railcars, the three bands will journey across the American Southwest!

Having just won a Brit Award for Best Album Mumford and Son will undoubtedly come under the publicity spotlight even more so than ever before, so there March tour of the Scottish Highlands and Ireland could not have come at a better time as they set out to road test their songs for a new album.
