Modern Hinterland return with The Longest Part of the Night, delving into the heart of divided modern Britain, fraught with anxiety and uncertainty and look at how this impacts on people’s relationships.

While the album may, as a whole, be hung with the shadows of adult life, there’s something here about the blissful innocence of childhood and a future yet unmapped.

Named after “a massive fairground that appears on Newcastle Town Moor every summer”, listen to Modern Hinterland’s lead single ‘Take You To The Hoppings (To Do Wrong)’, from their forthcoming album which takes its name from the fair.
