For those of you that missed Midlake performing on Jools Holland’s “Later” last night, here it is again. Included also is their new video for “Rulers, Ruling All Things”.

Midlake agreed to do a session for Sideshow Alley TV, a recently set up video session outfit whom I couldn’t find out much about but I thought this was a great session. So here they are. Midlake performing Small Mountain in an alleyway in Australia. I look forward to seeing more sessions!

Midlake have just released their third album The Courage of Others which has already been primed by Mojo as possibly the album of the year. They have spent the last three years making this album which has led them on a musical journey they have never been on before. They have discovered Fairport, Steeleye Span and ’70s British Folk, all of which has been an influence on this album.
