Meg Baird has unveiled a new video for an a capella version of Even the Walls Don’t Want You To Go from her latest album Don’t Weigh Down The Light. It opens to a sunrise from a beautiful woodland home surrounded by foxgloves and wildflowers. It’s stunningly beautiful.

Don’t Weigh Down the Light is Meg Baird’s fourth solo album, her first since 2011’s Seasons on Earth and, while her distinctive guitar playing and unique voice are still present and correct, the record marks a significant stylistic change.

Meg Baird has released a new album titled ‘Seasons on Earth’. It’s been a long wait since she released her last album ‘Dear Companion’ back in 2007.

Sharon Van Etten will be putting out her second record, a seven-song collection called epic, on October 5th through Ba Da Bing. The track below is the last song off that. If you’ve seen her live recently (like at the Chris Knox Benefit), you may have caught it. In April, the song was covered at the Music Now Fest in Cincinnati by Bon Iver and members of the National.
