Stelios Romaliadis’s 2011 album returns remastered from analogue tape, with live sets from two different line-ups and the full remix album. Northern Latitudes was inspired by two field recordings made by Chris Watson for a CD called ‘The Sea Ice Border’. It comprises of two recordings: 89 24 N Below and 89 24 N Above. Both feature in the mix at the beginning and end. The music in between was chosen based on the feel of those sounds.
