An upcoming film NEVADA featuring some of Lau’s new album: Race The Loser is to be screened as part of the band’s Kings Place mini festival weekend “Welcome To Lau-Land”

An Tobar will be working with one of Scotland’s foremost musicians, Aidan O’Rourke (Lau, KAN, Blazin’ Fiddles), who will be composing a new piece called TAT-1 for the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad. Includes video interview.

KAN are one of those bands that are at the forefront of moulding and re-defining tradtional music, if this is the standard then the tradtional music scene has rewarding times ahead!

The line-up for Cambridge Folk Festival is looking very promising: Lau, Fay Hield & The Hurricane Party, Roy Harper, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, The Staves and more.
