Lankum

Dublin four-piece Lankum announces new album ‘The Livelong Day’ blending ‘alternative folk and psychedelia’; to be released on Rough Trade on October 25th. Watch their video for opening track ‘The Wild Rover’, directed by Ellius Grace.

Watch Lankum’s one and only Radie Peat performing ‘My Bonny Boy’, also our Song of the Day. The video was made by This Ain’t No Disco which returns in the New Year. Don’t miss their special live event in Dublin on 26th September.

Lankum may have a new name, but they are still one of the most talented and original bands around, and Between the Earth & The Sky is a vital, bracing piece of work.

Listen to Sergeant William Bailey, from Lankum’s forthcoming album ‘Between the Earth & Sky’. This one is particularly special in that the site of William Bailey’s recruiting attempts is Dunphy’s corner, just down the road from where the members of Lankum live on Dublin’s northside.

Listen to “What Will We Do When We Have No Money?”, the first track from Lankum’s forthcoming new album ‘Between the Earth and Sky’, due for release on Rough Trade Records on October 27th.

Dublin folk miscreants LANKUM (previously Lynched) announce their second album ‘Between the Earth and Sky’, set for release on Rough Trade Records 27 October 2017.
