Ben Walker is to join forces with Kirsty Merryn for a new project titled  Life and the Land, a celebration of England’s harvest tradition, reimagining songs born out of our agricultural past.

Kirsty Merryn arrived in London to deliver a fabulous concert at Camden’s Green Note in support of her highly regarded debut album She & I. The emotion she conveyed and her breathtaking vocals were the stars of the show.

Folk singer-songwriter Kirsty Merryn comes to the Fisher Theatre in Bungay, Suffolk on Friday 31st August, and the Guildhall Norwich on 18th October as a part of her first ever solo tour of the UK.

In her thematic approach, Kirsty Merryn’s album is following in the path of Tori Amos and Carol Ann Duffy, who have, respectively, written songs or poems about or in the persona of famous women. The name Kirsty Merryn may be new to most of you but that’s all about to change with the release of her debut album ‘She and I’ which she will launch at London’s Union Chapel on November 9 whilst supporting Show of Hands on their UK Cathedrals tour.
