Kim Edgar’s ‘Consequences’ features collaborations with the likes of Louis Abbott, Rachel Sermanni, James Grant, Boo Hewerdine, and Horse McDonald. It was initially released as a song a month but is now gathered together in this superbly ambitious album to be launched at Celtic Connections.

Yet We Sing is the delightful result of a detailed and organic process of writing, planning, arranging and recording that spanned 3/4 of the last year with Cara finding a new level maturity as a creative unit. They deserve to hold their heads high among the extensive family of tradition-based writers and performers.

The Burns Unit is an 8 piece indie folk collaboration between some of the best names including King Creosote and Karine Polwart. Their much anticipated album, Side Show, was released in August.
