Keston Cobblers Club are back and have shared a video for their new single Mrs Dixon that centres on escapism and the balance of work and fun in life. They have a new album in the works and are on tour in April/May.

Today marks the launch of Here’s The Truth, the new single from Keston Cobblers’ Club which is accompanied by a colourful new video. The song is the fourth single to be taken from their forthcoming album Siren ( out on 12th April).

We talk to Keston Cobblers’ Club whose new album ‘Wildfire’ is out now. They head out on tour in July performing at festivals across the UK before supporting Bellowhead on their final farewell tour.

Our Song of the Day is from Keston Cobblers Club with Longer Than Gone from their forthcoming new album Wildfire due for release on 15 June. They are putting in a number of appearances at folk festivals this year including Priddy, Underneath the Stars, Sidmouth, Cambridge, Purbeck and Towersey so try and catch them if you can.

Underneath the Stars Festival which is co-run by Kate Rusby and situated near Barnsley have put together a great line up. The festival is running for three full days this year and artists include Mary Chapin Carpenter, Eddi Reader, Martin Simpson, Bruce Molsky, Bob Fox, The Young’uns, Damien O’Kane, Keston Cobblers Club, Siobhan Miller, Miranda Sykes and Rex Preston, Luke Daniels and Jim Causley. Keston Cobblers’ Club announce new album ‘Wildfire’ and we have a first taste with their forthcoming single. Plus we’ve news of their own festival ‘Camp Wildfire’, a 1950’s-style camp and swing ‘Adventure Questival’ in a secret Kent forest location.

The ever inventive Keston Cobblers’ Club got together recently in the Cobblers’ back room (image above) and came up with this cover of Ya Hey! (Vampire Weekend).

Keston Cobblers’ Club have offered the track ‘Giraffe Junkie’ as a free download. It featured on their very first EP and they’ve just kept getting better.
