Brooklyn-based Hiding Places announce their debut album, The Secret to Good Living, out April 3rd via Keeled Scales. Led by the poignant single “Waiting”—a track exploring grief and anticipation—the album bridges the band’s North Carolina radio roots with their evolution into a polished indie quartet. Drawing from slowcore and analogue warmth, they’ve crafted a debut that appears both intimate and expansive.

Emily Hines’ latest single, All of Our Friends, continues to channel introspective depths, calling to mind the melancholic and tender vibes of Adrianne Lenker. Watch the accompanying video, directed by Nashville filmmaker Abby Holmes. Hines said of its origins: “I wrote this song in a guy’s bedroom while he was working in the other room. Fresh out of college, I was naive and earnest, putting everything under a microscope…”

Will Johnson has announced his 10th solo album, Diamond City, due for release on April 4, 2025, via Keeled Scales. His opening track and lead single, Floodway Fall, is out today.
