As part of Topic Records’ 85th anniversary, June Tabor & Oysterband’s 2011 album ‘Ragged Kingdom’ will be reissued on vinyl. We take a look back at the album that “raises the spirit and tears at the soul in turn.”

After 45 years on the road, the legendary Oysterband are calling time, but not before heading out on tour with June Tabor. The aptly named “A Long Long Goodbye” tour will find them revisiting some of their favourite haunts to perform a career-spanning set.

One of the most exciting collaborations in folk music, June Tabor and Oysterband, resumes this autumn for a major tour. The 2019 ‘Fire and Fleet’ Tour will take in 15 dates across the UK this Autumn.

June Tabor launched her solo career with ‘Airs And Graces’, a record that remains one of the most essential folk music records of the 1970s and beyond. This Topic Records Deluxe CD re-issue features perfect sound and an abundance of treasures found within.

There will be many who have collected June Tabor’s recorded work over the years but for those who are perhaps less familiar with her work, this introduction is a grand way to discover one of the best voices of her era.
