Today, iyatraQuartet are self-releasing a vinyl version of Break the Dawn which is to be accompanied by an online launch concert streamed from London’s Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses.
Our Song of the Day comes from iyatraQuartet with Bhairav (Break the Dawn), watch the accompanying video as well as their online album launch which includes a playthrough of the album including videos, artwork and insights by the band.
iyatraQuartet’s music is a timely reminder of that all-important link between people and their art, and Break The Dawn exists as a complex, stunningly-performed artefact that offers a little hope in dark times.
Our Tune of the Day comes from the boundary-bending iyatraQuartet. On Black Seas, they take inspiration from the late British Poet Laureate, John Masefield’s poem Sea Fever, but quite unlike anyone has done before.
