Iron and Wine

Iron and Wine returns to the UK to perform dates in Manchester and London and one lucky winner will get two places on the guestlist for the Manchester Opera House gig (the only gig outside London) on May 30th!

Anyone familiar with Gregory Alan Isakov will have experienced the magical silken threaded balance he uses to engage the listener. With a UK Tour in June it was too good an opportunity to miss so we got him to record a session for us.

On the back of a beautiful performance at End of the Road festival in Wiltshire, Iron and Wine, the moniker of Sam Beam returned to London’s Union Chapel to a silent, near motionless crowd hypnotised by his Southern, sombre folk songs.

This festival line-up just keeps getting better, just when I think they’ve topped it they add another top band that we love! Indie giants Modest Mouse, gothic-Americana act Iron & Wine, conquering London guitar trio The White Lies and the single most exciting irish act of the last few years, Villagers, have all been added to this year’s 12th Open House Festival in Belfast, 7th – 12th September!
