Ahead of their seventh studio album “Terms of Surrender”, Hiss Golden Messenger share new song “Happy Birthday, Baby”. They have also announced UK tour dates in December.

Hiss Golden Messenger has released a new 7″ single titled ‘Passing Clouds’ (also our Song of the Day) with all proceeds going to the US charity Everytown For Gun Safety “a movement of Americans working together to end gun violence and build safer communities.”

While Hiss Golden Messenger shares the sentiments of many on the current state of affairs – he chooses to look to a brighter tomorrow, banging the drum for hope as he sings “I feel like my luck is turning…..We’ll be alright tonight.”  Hallelujah to that.

Hallelujah Anyhow is the new studio album from Hiss Golden Messenger. “I’ve never been afraid of the darkness; it’s just a different kind of light. And if some days that belief comes harder than others, hallelujah anyhow.”

Hiss Golden Messenger is to release a three-song collection called Southern Grammar as a 12″ EP on Merge Records. Watch the video of the recording of the title track here.
