Hiss Golden Messenger shares “Shaky Eyes,” the second single from forthcoming album “I’m People” (May 1st, Chrysalis Records), alongside a new video. North Carolina singer-songwriter MC Taylor, the creative force behind Hiss Golden Messenger, has announced his forthcoming album I’m People, set for release May 1st via Chrysalis Records. The announcement arrives alongside “In The Middle Of It,” a desert-soaked lead single accompanied by a lyric video that captures the wandering spirit of Taylor’s latest work.

Hiss Golden Messenger have stumbled upon a weird kind of alchemy; through their sense of magic, they are able to bind belief with reality in a way that lets you know there is only one choice: Jump for Joy.

Hiss Golden Messenger announce their new album ‘Jump for Joy‘ and share the video for their first single “Nu-Grape”. You can hear Aoife O’Donovan and Amy Helm on the chorus that channels American poet Mary Oliver. Musically, lyrically, and conceptually, it is unlike any previous album.

Recorded earlier this year at The Neptune, Seattle, Hiss Golden Messenger has released “Wise Eyes”, the first in a series of live releases. The 17-track album includes deep cuts and crowd favourites, plus barn-burning renditions of Merle Haggard’s “Mama Tried” and the Grateful Dead’s “Bertha.”

Ahead of their seventh studio album “Terms of Surrender”, Hiss Golden Messenger share new song “Happy Birthday, Baby”. They have also announced UK tour dates in December.

Hiss Golden Messenger has released a new 7″ single titled ‘Passing Clouds’ (also our Song of the Day) with all proceeds going to the US charity Everytown For Gun Safety “a movement of Americans working together to end gun violence and build safer communities.”

While Hiss Golden Messenger shares the sentiments of many on the current state of affairs – he chooses to look to a brighter tomorrow, banging the drum for hope as he sings “I feel like my luck is turning…..We’ll be alright tonight.”  Hallelujah to that.
