Good Lovelies

On ‘We Will Never Be The Same’, the latest offering from the Canadian trio the Good Lovelies, they present a rather wonderful album about accepting the march of time but not giving in to it.

Colour Film is the stage name of Hamilton, ON’s Matthew de Zoete. Watch his latest video for Open Road featuring Caroline Brooks of Good Lovelies, a song inspired “by a bike ride I took with my wife and two young daughters in the countryside one evening.”

On Burn The Plan, the Good lovelies fourth studio album, they’ve broadened their horizons to take in a touch of electronics. Whilst this could have seen everything go up in smoke it instead looks like a definite blaze of glory.

We have a real treat for you all today with a video premiere from Canadian folk trio, Good Lovelies. In The Morning features on their eagerly anticipated new album, ‘Burn The Plan’ due for release on June 15, 2015, followed by a UK tour. There’s no doubt that there is a new spirit of adventure afoot.

The Good Lovelies have been charming Canadian audiences with their lovely three part harmonies and retro driven roots / country swing since 2006.
