Tickets for this years Greenman Festival (18-21 August) went on sale this week, even with a partial line-up announcement the build up sounds great with Feet Foxes headlining along with the likes of Bellowhead, The Burns Unit, Villagers, and Emily Barker & The Red Clay Halo

I seem to be hitting a Fleet Foxes vein this week as Joshua Tillman, Fleet Foxes drummer, gets set to release his seventh album titled “Singin Ax” which is due for release on Western Vinyl on 14th September.

I was wondering what Fleet Foxes were upto this week when I was looking at some of the new rising stars and remembered the impact they made back in 2008. They don’t appear as prevalent in the media so I paid a visit to their Facebook page to find mention of a new website. I then came across this new tour documentary video

First Aid Kit are young swedish sisters, Johanna and Klara Soderberg. They came to the attention of the public following a very innocent tribute to Fleet Foxes. After seeing Fleet Foxes perform in Sweden that weekend they felt inspired and went into the forest to record a cover of “Tiger Mountain Peasant Song”.
